Little Castle
Walking around the city I chanced upon this house and it just took my breath away. My camera probably didn’t do it enough justice, but to me it looks like a little castle. How jealous am I of the people living in this house?! They were having a dinner party when I was trying to shoot the house and the guests were looking at me through the window with a confused look on their faces.
I am many things - a life coach, a diversity champion, a freelance writer and translator, a dog lover, a citizen of the world, etc - but never thought of myself as a photographer. Norwich inspires me to capture snapshots of this fine Norman city. Take a trip down Norwich lanes or enjoy a walk in the park with me.

It does remind one of a castle. That guests were having a dinner party says something about the owners as well. Nice photograph.

The house really looks like a castle! But your country is full of castles
When we lived in Scotland, we used to visit a new castle every Sunday, we lived there 11 months. Our neighboors were laughing and they said, that they have never been all those castles, which we saw. Those castles have always been there and habitants do not give much an attention to them, I think.

Hi, Leena! In Norwich we only have one castle BUT we do have plenty of houses that look like little castles AND in this county alone, there numerous ‘halls’ that seem like castles. All unique and beautiful in their own way.

This building is situated just to the north west of Norwich City Centre. I think it may have been a pub or a restaurant previously. It even makes the Victorian houses around it look rather ‘contemporary’!
