Castle Keep

This is the exterior of the Norwich Castle Keep. Enter the keep through the Bigod Arch, the original entrance to the Royal Palace. You will see elaborate carvings in the stonework. Explore the garderobes (five ‘four-berth’ toilets), walk around part of the original fighting gallery and descend a 900 year old spiral staircase.
There is plenty to keep you occupied and interested inside the castle. My favourite is the dungeon!
I am many things - a life coach, a diversity champion, a freelance writer and translator, a dog lover, a citizen of the world, etc - but never thought of myself as a photographer. Norwich inspires me to capture snapshots of this fine Norman city. Take a trip down Norwich lanes or enjoy a walk in the park with me.

Are these free tours? If so it would be a nice thing to do in your area.

Hi Abraham! I’m afraid if one wishes to visit all the zones, they have to pay £6.50 = $13. I’ve been in there several times, but was always with visiting friends, so I never took photos.
