Herb Garden

Walking around the Cathedral one Saturday, I stumbled upon this Herb Garden. I didn’t know of its existence prior to this. Needless to stay I enjoyed my time alone with the herbs!

La Tasca

La Tasca is a Spanish tapas bar and restaurant. It has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Located on Tombland St, people come here for a nice bottle of wine or a pint, enjoyed with some tapas and shared with good friends.

The Hall

The Anglican Cathedral has so many passages (and I bet secret ones, too!). This is just one of them. People come here to listen to their own thoughts, or to get away from the madding crowd.

At night, I avoid going there because it can be quite eerie, as if the ghosts that haunt the cathedral come to life when dusk falls and desire to commune with the living.

Glass Beauty

When you enter the Anglican Cathedral turn around and look up to appreciate the stained glass. My camera does not do it justice, so you’re gonna have to pay the cathedral a visit.

Castle Keep

This is the exterior of the Norwich Castle Keep. Enter the keep through the Bigod Arch, the original entrance to the Royal Palace. You will see elaborate carvings in the stonework. Explore the garderobes (five ‘four-berth’ toilets), walk around part of the original fighting gallery and descend a 900 year old spiral staircase.

There is plenty to keep you occupied and interested inside the castle. My favourite is the dungeon!
