The proverbial red telephone box. I feel sad that they’re getting replaced by silver monstrosities. I hope someone who is in a position to do it makes certain that these phone booths don’t go out of fashion. I simply love them!

You aren’t the only one who loves these booths! Both the colour and the design seem to fascinate many of us. I, too, regret their replacement. Our booths are fading into the age of the dinosaur and are rapidly disappearing because of the proliferation of cell phones. In addition, they’ve been a problem with drugs and drug transactions. Glad to see your photo!

They are so much more attractive than those awful modern phones, Joy. You can shut out the traffic noise, too.

I love these red phone booths! Never seen them before. In NY, they used to have the silver ones but those have disappeared to half enclosed booths. No one ever uses a public phone booth any more because they have cell phones. Hmmm…

When I was in the UK in April, there was an entire graveyard of the phone booths along the commuter train tracks.
Someone needs to gather them up and sell them on Ebay.
Lots of crazy Americans would buy them.

So pretty, I like them too. With cell phones though, I think these are being relegated to bars and restaurants.
