I attended a christening at the Roman Catholic Cathedral on Unthank Road. I love this building. A certain peace, a sanctuary.

Isn’t it ironic? People in my country pay heaps to bleach their skin, and women over here spend money to get brown. Go figure.

Square Hall

That’s Norwich City Hall, which is often confused with County Hall. It’s a rather ugly building – on the outside.  But inside are magnificent rooms, which I have enjoyed using during boring meetings and exciting events -  like when we arranged a Civic Reception for Baltic States visitors in February this year.

Sadly, even a country as affluent as the UK has its share of homeless people, like this one. NFA – no fixed address. I wonder how she’ll cope in the winter.
