What’s In A Name?

what's in a name

I attended a christening at the Roman Catholic Cathedral on Unthank Road. I love this building. A certain peace, a sanctuary.

It is a lovely building, Joy. Most modern buildings that are designed as a mediæval pastiche don’t work very well, but with this one I feel they got everything just right.

Rats. I commented this morning but it hasn’t appeared.
The RC Cathedral is indeed a beautiful building, Joy, and one of the only modern “mediæval pastiche” buildings I know of that truly works.
