Yummy Oranges

yummy oranges

It’s the 31st! Grab your oranges and 12 other round fruits to make sure you have a fruitful New Year. Well, that’s a Chinese tradition which we follow in Manila. Nothing to lose – you can still eat the fruits on the 1st day of the year. We use round fruits (though we’re not Chinese) because the shape symbolizes wealth.

You might need some tomatoes with the garlic, too. Look at how plump they are!

Red Lights

If you have nothing else to do today, why not swing by the city and just watch the lights? The red lights on the trees on Gentleman’s Walk are quite pretty.
