I would think the smell would be delightful. I don’t think I ever knowingly ate or tasted “Wold Boar” meat but would imagine it would have a much stronger pork taste than domestic pig.
I have been eating bits and pieces of pork ever since I was born and I still love it. There was a time when I helped with farmer’s butchering hogs.
Nice angle to your shot today (and yesterday). It makes me curious about the taste of wild boar, but I’m not a big meat eater, so I don’t think I will go out of my way to find out how it tastes.
I am many things - a life coach, a diversity champion, a freelance writer and translator, a dog lover, a citizen of the world, etc - but never thought of myself as a photographer. Norwich inspires me to capture snapshots of this fine Norman city. Take a trip down Norwich lanes or enjoy a walk in the park with me.

Those wild boar hams were yummy, Joy.
I still have one in the pantry.
Rats … Now I’m hungry … I’m stuck here in London and my wild boar ham is calling to me from Norfolk.

Yes, I know that but I’m more on the mood for fish right now.
Beautiful photo, however.
