Look East

I posted an image of the Forum a few days back and some of you wanted to see what goes on inside it. One of the tenants is the BBC. They look like a busy bunch – but let me tell you, they know how to have fun in there! Are you a fan of the BBC?
****
Memphis Daily Photo, Seguin Daily Photo, Alex and Ashwathy recently gave me the You Make My Day Award. I am so very warmed by this you guys! Many many thanks. I am pleased that my blog makes you smile on your visits.

The award rules say: “Give the award to 10 people whose blogs bring you happiness and inspiration and make you feel happy about blogland. Let them know by posting a comment on their blog so they can pass it on. Beware you may get the award several times.”
I enjoy visiting blogs because each has a unique way of looking at things either through their lenses or their pens (or computer keyboard). Let me now take this opportunity to say that the following blogs do make my day in various ways – and to them I’d like to say thank you and pass on the award.
Reyna Elena, Chuvaness, Carol, Dive, Kengkay, Agnes, Ambo, Bluepanjeet, Medam, Luke, Chase and Paz.
I’m taking some liberty here because I know that’s more than 10, but since I received the award from 4 different people, I thought it was alright.
I am many things - a life coach, a diversity champion, a freelance writer and translator, a dog lover, a citizen of the world, etc - but never thought of myself as a photographer. Norwich inspires me to capture snapshots of this fine Norman city. Take a trip down Norwich lanes or enjoy a walk in the park with me.

They’re a jolly bunch.
I once had to spend Christmas day there and it was a lot more fun than my usual Christmas.

I see you translate. I’m available to translate French into English but can’t seem to find an agency. Any ideas?

BBC? We have BBC America, dont really pay much attention to it, though they did have a lot of commercials on other stations for their show “Football players wifes” or something like that.

I like seeing BBC World and BBC Prime on cable Tv. Much better than Sky News, for me.
Congratulations on the award.

Joy, you do make my day. Well done getting the award; it is thoroughly deserved.
Thank you for passing it on, but Old Dive has been trying to avoid this one for weeks now. It would spoil the blog’s painstakingly nurtured look of curmudgeonly grumpiness.
Hee hee hee.

Hi, Joy, I am glad that my blog is one of those that make your day. Thank you very much for your nice and kind words and for the award.
Thanks for let me know about another radio show of yours; I do hope I will be able to listen to it. I really would love to. I think it will be interesting.
As for the visa; I don’t think you need it to come to my country. Only we from this country cannot go anywhere without visa. Yes, if it isn’t sad it would be really funny.

Nice choices, Joy!
We do watch BBC America quite a bit. I like some of the antiques/decorating shows. My son likes the comedy, which is different from some of the comedy you find in the U.S. I’ll hear him in there laughing out loud…

I don’t really watch that much TV, but the BBC is certainly a quality network. And thank God they don’t have any annoying commercials like our national network (Belgium).
I don’t know Norwich at all, I’ve never been up that end. I’m going to Birmingham in March, but that is near to on the same horizontal line looking from here, but there is a lot of distance between the two.
