I say ‘pretend’ because blue skies are supposed to make me jolly and smile, but somehow this one doesn’t. Sigh. Still stuck in the middle of winter. Spring, hurry up!

The plane trees might still have their Christmas baubles on, Joy, but the snowdrops are in full bloom and the buds on the daffodils are ready to burst.

The sky here; you probably don’t want to know. It is nearly always blue and clear - but is is summer!
Fortunately it did rain a bit the other night; the first for 5 or 6 weeks.

I know what you meant. It was raining for days in Manchester. I haven’t seen the blue sky for very long until yesterday and today!
