Pink Pillars

When the Customer Adviser said I could take photos, I quickly got my camera out, turned to my right and shot this. To the right you’ll see the door panel – that’s the entrance. This is truly an architectural work of art. It makes me wonder what it was built for originally. Dive?
I am many things - a life coach, a diversity champion, a freelance writer and translator, a dog lover, a citizen of the world, etc - but never thought of myself as a photographer. Norwich inspires me to capture snapshots of this fine Norman city. Take a trip down Norwich lanes or enjoy a walk in the park with me.

So is the whole building painted in pink, Joy?
Light pink is a good color to use in interior decoration. Specialy when the lighting is good and well placed.

Nice interior design. Truely a Victorian architecture marvel.

The pink tones certainly enhance the architecture; different to the run of the mill banks I’ve seen.
Thanks for dropping in so regularly to Adelaide in Photos and leaving comments.

Fantastic architecture for sure! Love it. I like the colouring in this photo.
I would certainly appreciate your posting a condolence message in my blogs today for the wife of a good blogger friend…

I t was built as a banking hall, Joy. The nice old-fashioned kind with oak desks and ledger clerks. It must have been great in the days before ATMs and so-called “Customer Service”.
