Pink Oval

At the foyer, I already started to admire this building. They could have just had this light above, but no, it had to have that beautiful oval centre piece. What for? Over to you, Dive!

Hi Joy. This is a very lovely bank! I never would have thought pink at that scale could be so glamorous but I love it.

The oval is a leftover from the Adam brothers’ decorative style. In fact there are faux-Adam touches all over the interior.
The wreath edging that they used here is of an earlier, Jacobean type; the Adams would never have used anything so heavy; they were all for delicacy and grace.
In a room this large though, I feel it works just as well.
Lovely.
