Prince’s Visit

Some of you wanted to see a few more ‘treasures’ at the East Anglian Film Archive. So I went back and took a few more snaps.
This is a film of the Prince of Wales, Edward VIII, before he became king and abdicated the throne to be with his American wife, Wallis Simpson. Here he visits Great Yarmouth, which has become a thriving fishing town.
I am many things - a life coach, a diversity champion, a freelance writer and translator, a dog lover, a citizen of the world, etc - but never thought of myself as a photographer. Norwich inspires me to capture snapshots of this fine Norman city. Take a trip down Norwich lanes or enjoy a walk in the park with me.

Cool! I’m going to have to visit that place, Joy.
Is it open to the general public? It seems the perfect place to spend a rainy day.

You should. I believe you’d need to make an appointment to be able to see all the nice vaults and machines. I can effect an introduction for you if you like. Or if you’re free on the 1st of April, I’m going down there again.
