A Wet Day

a wet day

A couple of weeks back it was pouring and I was at the office. I looked out my window and saw these dainty flowers and thought how brave they were to withstand the thrashings of mother nature.

To Let

to let

I have been ill all week, so obviously I wanted to just rest. On Thursday at midday, the usually noisy student neighbours decided to practise playing their trumpet – and they suck! I had to check if murder was still a crime in this country. It went on for ages.

The agents have put up this sign, which probably means the current horrors will soon leave and will be replaced by, I won’t be surprised, other inconsiderate students like themselves.

Sometimes, when they come back from a drinking binge at 2am, some girl would be crying and screaming, “I’m so stupid, I’m so stupid.”  Other times, one of them would say, “I just want to kill myself!” That’s a thought.  When did uni life become so overly dramatic?

Can’t wait to move to our new house!

Scarves

scarves

Spring is here and a change in fashion is afoot. You will need something more colourful, lighter and more vibrant! This shop offers a lot of options. Pick one.

Scarves anyone? What colour would you like?

In Memory

in memory

Taken outside St Peter Mancroft, this bench was dedicated in loving memory of James Armitage Campbell, Physician and Sidesman of this church. I have mixed feelings about dedicating a bench to someone’s memory.

Would you like to have a bench dedicated to you after you’ve passed on?

Inside St Peter

inside st peter

The structure of St Peter inside is a bit similar to St John’s Cathedral, but I’m sure Dive will be able to differentiate the two :)
