Books Galore

Andy also sells old books and postcards. When I get the chance, I sure would like to rummage through the piles and find a nice book to add to my collection.
What was the last book you read?

A bookstore is always a positive view. My last book was “My God… why?” by Abbé Pierre.

I love collecting books ~ either to read them now or for keepsake or to be read in the future! I have just finished reading David Baldacci’s thriller called Split Second. Now I am reading about the lives of women in Saudi Arabia in a book entitled Daughters of Arabia.

The last book I read actually has a Norwich connection. Fr Robert Llewelyn died recently, aged 98. As well as being the Chaplain of the Julian Shrine, he also wrote books about Julian and prayer, so I’ve been re-reading the excellent With Pity Not With Blame, based partly on Mother Julian of Norwich’s writings.
