Lovely Houses

Retired people can have some of the luxuries in life, including lovely places to live. This is a compound of such houses, if you don’t mind sharing a lawn with your neighbours.

Aha! Part of the Great Hospital, Joy. One day I’ll have to contact the Master and see if I can take you around the place. It dates back to the twelfth century and St.Helen’s Church still contains the mediæval hospital as a kind of museum, though not open to the public.
When I worked in Norwich we were architects in charge of maintaining the buildings.
May is probably the best time to organise a tour as the gardens are beautiful then.
