Thai On The River

thai7

This restaurant is a boat on the river. I have been craving to go back there. Hopefully it happens soon!

See how cosy it is? Now look at the delicious food.

As for dessert, we had mango with rice cake and vanilla ice cream

And after we were done enjoying ourselves, of course we had to pay!

The bill is inside this box!

What about you? When was the last time you enjoyed Thai food?

I envy you. We really do need a variety of more dining out places in Ramsey.

Wow, Joy! I go past there every day but I’ve never been inside. It looks lovely.
Though I must say that every Thai meal I’ve ordered in Norwich has been way too salty to eat. In Yarmouth they can cook Thai properly but it seems that they have yet to learn how in Norwich.

Funny you asked. It was at the end of Dec 2008. A friend took us out and ordered all these food (no photos for blog did not bring camera), but not the familiar dishes that we all know.

    I love seafood green chili.

After my hubs and I got married in a civil ceremony, we took my our witnesses (my mom and bro) to a Thai restaurant :)

Nice, the food looks YUMMY! Thanks Joy. Good thing to know there are Asian restaurants around in Norwich. I might go there in the future!

Thai food is my favourite! I’ve only been once at a boat restaurant and it was in Bangkok.

I used to eat in a Thai restaurant in the 5th floor of Shangri-La EDSA back in the days I was working in a travel agency with a beautiful and widower Thai boss. Our office is in West Avenue making it near SM North that we would frequent a Vietnamese Restaurant instead. Halos pareho lang kasi ang templa ng Thai and Vietnamese food.
    I miss those days…
But Thai foods are simply quite expensive for my blood :)
