Spring Fresh: Bluebells

Believe it or not, I waited years to see bluebells upclose, and spent so many springs trying to capture them!

But last Saturday, the elusive bluebells condescended to be photographed.

Lights changed dramatically during the half hour I tried capturing them.

And it seemed that each bell, had its own beauty.

Some a lot simpler than others.

But each just as graceful.

Some I saw just coming into their own.

But mostly, they were all just a delight!
I am many things - a life coach, a diversity champion, a freelance writer and translator, a dog lover, a citizen of the world, etc - but never thought of myself as a photographer. Norwich inspires me to capture snapshots of this fine Norman city. Take a trip down Norwich lanes or enjoy a walk in the park with me.

Very nice, Joy. You would see whole fields of these all over Texas this time of year…In fact there’s an ice cream made in Brenham, Texas named Blue Bell and it is the best ice cream in the entire world!

Spring time is here again!
I love these photos especially the third, fourth, and seventh photo. I don’t think I’ve seen such kind of flower here in the Philippines…
