Fortune Telling

Each year, Norwich has a mind body spirit festival, and of course yours truly had a poke around!
There was someone who used astrology and his laptop to tell your fortune, another used oranges – yes! oranges – to look into your future, another used tarot cards, one who simply had ‘the gift’ and a woman who used runes.
Have you ever had your future foretold? If not, would you like to?
I am many things - a life coach, a diversity champion, a freelance writer and translator, a dog lover, a citizen of the world, etc - but never thought of myself as a photographer. Norwich inspires me to capture snapshots of this fine Norman city. Take a trip down Norwich lanes or enjoy a walk in the park with me.

People will look for answers just about anywhere, which makes them vulnerable to scams…
It’s most interesting, though…oranges?

Yes, we do have like that in Quiapo, a lot of them. But I guess no one there is so “high-tech” enough to be using laptop in fortune telling

I regret to say Jacob is most likely right, people want to know and others are only too happy to tell them anything they think they want to hear.
Not really my kind of thing, oranges are a new one to me though.

I don’t think I will…although it looks like fun.
Did you have your fortunes told yet? I think I’d rather find out for myself…as much as I’d like to sometimes.

Oranges to tell my future? How innovative, LOL.
Probably Sidney’s right. Our local Quiapo fortune tellers would be more improved if we send them over for training there, they may soon use guava or marbles next time, hehehehe..
