White Beauty

And soon the beauty of white winters will be over. Don’t tell me you won’t miss it one bit.
But seriously, I challenge you to come up with a list, no matter how short, of all the wonderful things about winter and all the fabulous things you can do just because it is winter. Snuggling into your uggs counts!
Here’s my list:
- Cosy evenings and mornings with my significant other
- Enjoying a steaming mug of chai (something I wouldn’t like in the summer)
- Fresh crisp mornings
- Wonderful sunsets
- Beautiful snow covered trees
- Serenity when snow falls
- Wearing colourful scarves
What would your list say?
I am many things - a life coach, a diversity champion, a freelance writer and translator, a dog lover, a citizen of the world, etc - but never thought of myself as a photographer. Norwich inspires me to capture snapshots of this fine Norman city. Take a trip down Norwich lanes or enjoy a walk in the park with me.

What a lovely place for a winters walk.
Here are a few things:
Layering your clothes
A nice cup of tea before bed.
The feel of that first outdoor breath in the cold after being indoors.
Snow
A day out in the snow with a cup of hot chocolate.

Hello Joy, nice to see your comment on my blog again.
The first thing that took my eye in this beautiful photo is white and fresh snow and lovely blue winter sky. That is what I noticed in many of your previous photos and that is also one of wonderful things about winter that I love so much. Also, I love snow flakes of various size and beautiful shapes. I enjoy watching when snow falls while everything is white all around. I love that scene from a fairy tale in which I find myself walking in. Warm home in winter days and nights, the family together, the smell of hot tea or coffee; the moment when I hear my sons come home and the sound of shaking off the snow from their jackets and boots…
Happy holidays and warm greetings!
Hope to see you in Sarajevo this winter.

No snow here in Turin, at the moment. But in the mountains, over the 1200m, there is a lot of snow: great skiing season this year.
