Thinking By The Tree

thinking by the tree

What better place to ruminate than by a tree? I think trees possess a certain kind of wisdom, considering how long they’ve been around. This man seems to be in very deep thought.

In Memory

in memory

Taken outside St Peter Mancroft, this bench was dedicated in loving memory of James Armitage Campbell, Physician and Sidesman of this church. I have mixed feelings about dedicating a bench to someone’s memory.

Would you like to have a bench dedicated to you after you’ve passed on?

Healing Bench

healing bench

Within the Halls grounds, there are nooks and crannies for patients to be by themselves and reflect. If my surroundings were this beautiful, I’m sure it won’t be too long til I’m back on my feet again.

Lazy Saturday

lazy saturday

I couldn’t figure out what this couple were looking at - or if they were mindlessly watching people go by. What I wanted was to take a photo of these benches, given my penchant for them, but I didn’t have to ask them to leave. Bless.

Reflections

reflection

Today being a Sunday, I thought a time for reflections would be appropriate. Sat on this wrought iron bench would be a suitable place to think about the week that’s gone, and the week ahead.
