Who likes bread? Raise your hands.

Well, feast your eyes on these gorgeous breads. They were definitely different from what one gets here in England. Why? Because the French made them! There were olive breads, sun dried tomato foccaccia, wheat bread, rye bread, sour dough, etc. What is your favourite bread?

There is a new coffee place called The Little Red Roaster on Grove Road, just opposite Tesco, and very near Sainsbury’s, too. It’s run by two very lovely proprietors who have nothing but smiles and really good food!

The place itself is quite cosy. There are two low tables that can be occupied and 3 really cool red bar stools if you need more leg room.

Take a look at their menu. It’s just fantastic. If you want to have breakfast, brunch, lunch or an early light dinner, then this is the place to go. I sure hope you’ll try it because everything is delish!

So here’s another look at the yummy cakes. They also serve freshly brewed coffee of your choice. There’s plenty to choose from.

The European Market had a couple of Turkish stands. One of them sold delightful baked desserts like the ones above.

Which among the ones on this post are you interested in sinking your teeth?

The only figs I eat are Fig Newtons. However, I know people who love them. Are you one of those people?

The first time I heard the word ‘liquorice’ was on Sesame Street, when Ernie bought two, one for him and Bert, and he ended up eating both! Do you like liquorice?
