I have lived in Norwich for several years now and everytime I go down, or up, Westlegate St I always cast my eye on Casaccio’s. Can’t resist the ‘for every sweet temptation.’ So one of these days I’m gonna have to go there! I love the thatch roof and the old feel to it.

Here’s The Library, minus the books. I was attracted by the facade of this restaurant.

I’m just not sure about the door. What kind of door do you think would suit the overall theme?

This restaurant is a boat on the river. I have been craving to go back there. Hopefully it happens soon!

See how cosy it is? Now look at the delicious food.

Vermicelli spring rolls

Thai fish cakes

Rice with coconut milk – gorgeous!

As for dessert, we had mango with rice cake and vanilla ice cream
And after we were done enjoying ourselves, of course we had to pay!

The bill is inside this box!
What about you? When was the last time you enjoyed Thai food?

There is a new coffee place called The Little Red Roaster on Grove Road, just opposite Tesco, and very near Sainsbury’s, too. It’s run by two very lovely proprietors who have nothing but smiles and really good food!

The place itself is quite cosy. There are two low tables that can be occupied and 3 really cool red bar stools if you need more leg room.

Take a look at their menu. It’s just fantastic. If you want to have breakfast, brunch, lunch or an early light dinner, then this is the place to go. I sure hope you’ll try it because everything is delish!

So here’s another look at the yummy cakes. They also serve freshly brewed coffee of your choice. There’s plenty to choose from.

Bella Italia, a chain of restaurants, now has 3 branches in Norwich. I always find it interesting to look at their walls while waiting for my food. There doesn’t seem to be any order to how they put up frames and posters, but they sure do look colourful! Does your favourite resto have any interesting feature or focal point?
