Old Tunes

old tunes

Looking for hard to find records? You might want to give this shop a chance. It’s opposite Andy’s and this guy sure has loads to choose from! The artists were mostly way before I was born, but could prove a good place for people who love old records.

Do you have a favourite 40′s, 50′s, or 60′s music?

Books Galore

books galore

Andy also sells old books and postcards. When I get the chance, I sure would like to rummage through the piles and find a nice book to add to my collection.

What was the last book you read?

Andy’s Leather

andy's leather

Back to Norwich Market. Meet Andy. He’s the proud owner of this leather shop and everything leather that you see here was made with his own hands! He’s a real sweetheart. Unfortunately, since I don’t eat most animals, I’d rather avoid buying leather as much as possible. But his creations are really lovely. You’ll find his shop at the back of the market, near the stairs leading up to St Peter St. Go buy from him!

And the answer to yesterday’s puzzle is: the hood of our car covered in hail. I found the texture of it quite appealing so I took a photo.

Spices Spices

spices spices

I haven’t been to this shop before and I got really excited! Look at all the lovely things I can buy to make really delicious food. They’ve got spices of all sorts. I should find out if they have chipotle – coz that’s something I really need to make that yummy Southwest Chipotle sauce.

Are you into spices or cooking?

Fish N Chips

fish n chips

Before anything else – Happy Easter lovely people!

While walking around the market looking for interesting shots, I found a long queue and wondered what the heck was going on. Was someone dishing out grub for free?

Lo and behold it was lunchtime and people were in the mood for fish and chips! Ugh! All that grease. I haven’t eaten anything fried for over a month now and I can’t say that I miss it.

But I suppose people love their lard so here they are. It is very popular over here in the UK, though I have been told on numerous occasions that fish and chips was something the Brits picked up in India, or was it that Indians brought fish and chips to the UK?

Either way, how often do you have fish and chips?
