Cherished

What shape of tombstone would you like? This is one is heart-shaped and I think it’s because Sheila was cherished indeed.

I suppose being a city with a huge university, it’s only fair to expect that students will find ways to have fun and let the public know about it. Many areas around Norwich serve as a notice board for events organised by the ever party-ready youth.

I have been ill all week, so obviously I wanted to just rest. On Thursday at midday, the usually noisy student neighbours decided to practise playing their trumpet - and they suck! I had to check if murder was still a crime in this country. It went on for ages.
The agents have put up this sign, which probably means the current horrors will soon leave and will be replaced by, I won’t be surprised, other inconsiderate students like themselves.
Sometimes, when they come back from a drinking binge at 2am, some girl would be crying and screaming, “I’m so stupid, I’m so stupid.” Other times, one of them would say, “I just want to kill myself!” That’s a thought. When did uni life become so overly dramatic?
Can’t wait to move to our new house!

Thank goodness they declared this part of the city as an Alcohol Free Zone. Mind you, though the Vauxhall St area is considered a hot spot, there are a couple of shops that do sell alcohol. Well, as long as people don’t open the bubbly before reaching home then we’re all ok.

In the UK, the Health and Safety Law is steeped in every organisation’s policies. This sign is pretty obvious. It’s located quite near the football stadium. It’s a funny sign, too. It’s like telling ‘fires’ to assemble at that spot.
